Tired from hectic schedule, one
needs a break to freshen up one-self. For a sound body and mind, it is very
essential to relax and give yourself some time so that all the things can go
accurately. If we talk about Pakistan, Allah Almighty has blessed us with
numerous worth-seeing and adorable places where one can enjoy and relax and
spare some time for one-self. MiranJani
is one of these beautiful places to spend holidays.
MiranJani, the most attractive peak
with elevation of about 2992 meters i.e. approximately 9816 feet, is located in
Galyat Region (present in Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e. one of
the administrative provinces of Pakistan). MiranJani lies in the Namli Maira
area, in Ayubia National Park (80 kilo meter, north of Islamabad).
The MiranJani trek is a little away
from the Governor House that locates in Nathia Gali. The altitude of the track
is nearly 600 meters while the total length of the pathway is around 4.69 kilo
meters. The second trek leading to MiranJani is from Dagri Bangla Rest House,
Abbottabad. The pathway is covered with minor rocks, tall trees and lavish
greenery so it is easy to pass through it with slight effort. Some large sized
stones are also present on the track. It is nearly completed in 2 to 3 hours.
But talking about professional and skillful trekkers, it is easy for them to do
it in about 1 and half hour to 2 hours. The path is straight and extensive.
Initially, it is easy but it’s getting tough and hard as we move forward.
The highest point of MiranJani is MiranJani
top that is marked with a 30 feet high pole. Jhelum River, Thandiani, Tarbela
Lake, Pir Panjal mountain range of Kahmir, Mushkpuri, Azad Kashmir, Nathia Gali,
Nanga Parbat and some other peaks of Naran can be viewed from Miran Jani top
which provide an exotic scene. The ninth highest mountain of the world, Nanga
Parbat, is approximately 400 kilo meters away from MiranJani.
During winter, it is all covered
with snow and presenting a very fascinating view. But compared to summers, it’s
difficult and tough to traverse in winter because it is too slippery and snowy.
It is a dry trek so water and some biscuits are suggested to take while hiking
or trekking.
