Because it reduces the risk of many diseases like osteoporosis, hypertension and other metabolic syndrome. Most importantly, it is an excellent stress- relieving therapy.

Pakistan is a ground of the most attractive and worth-seeing hiking points. One of these is Mushkpuri top.  Mushkpuri, also known as Mukeshpuri, is the second highest mountain of Galiyat Region with elevation of more than 9400 feet; located in Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. It lies just above the Dunga Gali which locates in Nathia Gali. Western Himalayan Forests mostly covers this mountain.

There are two routes leading to the top; one is from Nathia Gali which is a four kilometer lengthy but comparatively easy trek, and the other is from Dunga Gali which is a steeper trek and gives the enchanting view of Ayubia National Park. It nearly takes about 2 to 3 hours to reach the top. In winters, this lust green beautiful trek is fully covered with snow. Jhelum River, Murree, Islamabad, Bagh District and Kashmir valley can be viewed from Mushkpuri top.

Last march, I along with my some friends decided to visit Mushkpuri top. We started our journey in the night from Lahore around 11 o’ clock and reached Murree in the morning around 6. The roads were blocked due to snow so we have to wait for another two hours. Nearly, 10 a.m. we reached Nathia Gali. We decided to stay there for an hour to freshen up and for breakfast. Then, around 11 a.m. we prepared ourselves and started hiking. Initially, it was a rough path but as we proceeded, trek was snowy and slippery.  It took us 3-hours to reach the top. Mushkpuri Top presents a very captivating and spellbinding view. Top was fully covered with snow. We spent one and half hour there by just looking at the beauty of this fascinating top. As we moved downward, it starts hailing and the trek was all muddy. The sun was about to set and became very difficult for us to move down. But we made it in approximately two hours. Though it was tiring but we enjoyed it beyond limits. Around 7 p.m. we moved back and planned to have dinner in Islamabad and then returned to our busy life.
